SAD – The Secret of Agronomic Achievements
Everybody knows this: the Earth feeds us. More precisely – the earth’s surface. But out of five hundred million square kilometers of land to land, only one hundred and fifty. The amount of fertile soil is limited. Man’s hard work increases and grows. But this growth can not continue indefinitely. Somewhere, he must slow down, pause. But the growing humanity can not stop.
As before, the eyes of all specialists involved in the problem of nutrition are addressed to agriculture. What are the reserves of agriculture? Where are they? In what?
Scientists call: chemical methods of controlling pests – insects, plants, microbes: the newest methods of agronomy; variety of applied fertilizers; the progress of the plant itself – its ability to bear fruit, give useful products. At one time, the breeders focused on the size of the grain, its weight, the length of the ear, that is, what is laid in the foundation of the crop capacity.
Preparation of the harvest begins with the preparation of grain. It is necessary to select the best, the largest, the heaviest and the even. After all, uniformity, grain leveling in comparison with ordinary unsorted grain gives an increase in yield by 2-3 centners. If these centners are multiplied by millions of hectares, a noticeable amount of hundreds of thousands of tons of additional grain is formed. Therefore, farmers carefully sort the sown seeds. They must be heavy. Gravity of grain is a synonym for its yield. The heavier the grain, the more friendly and energetic its shoots are. So, the harvest is better.
Agriculture today is truly a battlefield of ideas. The problems that arise here are majestic and at the same time complex. In agriculture, like fabulous bogatyrs at the crossroads, nature and society, plant and man, law and case came together. The number of variables is huge: everything matters, everything plays a role. And the rain, and the soil, and the tool of labor, and the level of knowledge of the agronomist. They seem to be connected with each other, but the law of these connections is not yet fully understood. While agriculture remains in many ways a country of secrets and mysteries.

A pile of agricultural practice was supplemented with new data. Previously, experts figuratively represented the laws of harvest in the form of a barrel with walls of several wooden rivets. It is also called the „Barrel of Domenech“, illustrating the Law of the Minimum. A full barrel happens only when all the rivets are equally high. It is worth breaking one of them, and the water level will immediately fall. Each rivet designates the component of the crop. Without water, do not get a crop, but the excess is also harmful: it helps to soak the plants. Lack of heat is bad. The plant develops sluggishly, is sick, yields a low yield. But high temperatures are a disaster that destroys a plant. The other three components are fertilizer, tillage, terms and rates of seed sowing (feeding area).
The laws of the harvest are the laws of properly conceived harmonious management of plant development. Many scientists came to the conclusion that the „barrel of productivity“ should be sorted and replenished with new riveting – strong and high-yielding seeds.
Competent agronomists know that the most powerful, high-grade and high-yield grain is formed in the middle part of the ear, cob, basket, etc. The ear begins its flowering from the middle part, so the grains in this zone have an increased protein content and have the strongest germ. These grains have high seeding qualities and yield the maximum yield, they are called biologically valuable seeds. But after threshing the ear, the grains are depersonalized and it is impossible to determine the place of their formation by appearance.
Scientists repeatedly tried to find a complex feature that characterizes the place of grain formation, its performance and usefulness. Numerous studies to study the sowing qualities of grain in different zones of the spike repeatedly confirm that the specific gravity of grain is the main indicator that characterizes the usefulness of grain, which has the maximum yield potential. These seeds possess high seeding qualities, give friendly and strong shoots, simultaneous ripening of the grain, due to which a high yield is formed.
To obtain strong seeds, we need to carefully select according to the specific weight of the grain. Often used to date, aggregates for processing grain solve common tasks: to clean the grain, reduce its moisture, calibrate it in size, etc. Today, there is already a struggle for every grain, capable of giving strong offspring. This requires high-performance separators that are able not only to efficiently clean the grain, but also carefully select the biologically valuable seeds without injury.
Since 2001, agricultural producers have started using aerodynamic separators of the SAD family on their farms. The latest development of Luhansk inventor Sukhin Vladimir Stepanovich in 2001 mastered the Scientific and Production Enterprise „AEROMEH“. From the first days, the company’s philosophy was to use and introduce into production only highly effective developments that give the maximum result in the field of grain processing. One of the first machines in which a non-grid method of exact grain selection by the specific gravity is laid is the separator SAD-10. Agronomists were skeptical about the new method of grain separation. „As it is, without sills, you can quickly cleanse the grain and prepare the seed. Better sieve machines and vibro-pneumostyle there is nothing better „- were the first phrases of farmers. But when the seeding crop ready for sowing was divided into 5 fractions and demonstrated the different qualities of such seeds, the arguments of the farmers came to an end.
Thanks to the SAD machine, it was possible to separate the grain according to its biological value. The separator uses a new method, based on the principles of pneumonia and inkjet technology, which allows you to sort the grain by its specific gravity with high accuracy. Due to this, it is possible to increase the average yield of seeds, because biologically strong seeds have high seeding qualities and have a high harvest potential.

Science at the plant „AEROMEH“ is the main link. Even with the creation of the separation method laid in the SAD machines, a team of scientists led by Sukhin V.S. repeatedly carried out research on the study of sowing and yielding qualities of seeds. Seeds that have been calibrated on the SAD separator were characterized by higher seeding qualities. The growth force of such seeds was higher by 12-15% compared to seeds prepared according to traditional technology. In the table below it can be clearly seen that the seeds of the 2nd and 3rd fractions, obtained after calibration on the separator SAD, have the maximum specific gravity. The germination and energy of germination of such seeds is 10% higher.

And as you know, between the energy of germination and yield there is a positive correlation. That is, the selection of grain on the separators SAD leads to a significant increase in the seed quality of seeds and ultimately contributes to the formation of highly productive plants.

We have looked at the essence of the problem of growing seeds so much that we know how the seeds form. We found a way that allows us to conduct a competent selection of grain, which we were actually prompted by nature.
Today almost every farm and every farmer in Ukraine uses a separator SAD. Machines SAD won trust not only in Ukraine, but also became popular in more than 50 countries around the world. Thus, the problem of obtaining high-yielding seeds has been solved and in the „barrel of yield“ it is possible to raise the height of the riveting responsible for this.
